OAK GROVE

Part of our Community Outreach last year and again this year are our Horse Show Concessions.  We come together for a Fun day of Fund Raising.  March thru November, one Saturday of each month, at the Inter County Saddle Club  Horse Show.  This is located at Tildon Whitehurst's Stables in Woodville.  We are usually on the job from 8 AM to 2 or 2:30 PM.  We have borrowed a cook trailer from the Inter County Ruritans, and having a great time serving up cheeseburgers, hotdogs, sausage, eggs, BBQ along with baked goods from the ladies of the church, and chips, and drinks.  Our prices are low.  You can get a cheeseburger, chips, and can of soda for $4.00.

All profits are split 50/50.  One Half goes to our Building Fund.  The church building is approaching it's 197th Birthday, and is undergoing several major renovations these past two years.

One Half of our profit is donated to specific causes or charities, (such as the Albemarle Food Bank) or used as part of our community outreach fund.
