OAK GROVE

Welcome to Oak Grove UMC.  We are on the Chapanoke Road, a couple of miles off Highway 17, between Hertford and Elizabeth City, North Carolina.  We are a community outreach oriented church.  We believe strongly in the words of the Bible, and in reaching out to those in our community that are in need. 

Our members come to Worship on Sunday mornings for a time of relief from the cares of the world.  Our "strict" dress code, is to come as you are comfortable.  Shorts and T Shirt to Suit and Tie, all are welcome.  At a time when other rural churches are struggling to survive, we are growing.  Because we honestly believe that try as we may, we cannot outgive God.
